Celebrate National Fried Chicken Day at Constitution Yards

Two local eateries will compete for votes—and bragging rights—on Friday, July 6.

 

Need an excuse to indulge in fried chicken? We’ve got two. 

First: National Fried Chicken Day is Friday, July 6. And second, Johnnie’s Dog House and Chicken Shack will be going head-to-head against Lettie’s Kitchen in a “Fried Chicken Off” on at Constitution Yards in Wilmington, from 7–10 p.m on the same day.

Patrons will be able to vote for their favorite fried chicken while enjoying entertainment from Philly Keys: Dueling Pianos & Musical Comedy. The first 50 people to vote will also receive a free door prize.

Admission is free, but food and drinks must be purchased during the event. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
